Ok here it's not my problem this is a problem my friend Knight has some of you know him some of you dont well he was [*TIME*]Knight aka [*CBT*] but anyways yea he asked meh to write here what his problem is because TMO knows very much about computers so please help him. Ok he told me on msn that: 1st: his computer worked the day before today but today his computer had problems because: 1st:He started the computer he cannot open any windows because it freezes the computer. 2nd:then it sais boot device...wich i do not know what it means he restarts computer. 3rd:He presses f2 for setups it says check boot device idk what that might mean but if you do please tell me so i can help him thx alot guys.

Has he unplugged or opened his case for any reason? It sort of sounds like maybe he has a loose connection or either a device has failed and cant be detected. He may need to check all of his cables to make sure they are all connected properly.
The 1st think u mentioned made me think he has a virus or trojan that is effecting internet explorer.
He needs to run a virus scan and a spyware/addware removal program.
I have links on this board where he can get them for free if he doesnt have them.
Let me know what happens next.

he says that he cannot get in windows.
He says there's the loading box and it show ===== in green and 3/4 of the box...something like that i dont know what it is...
And he says it dosent load for the windows to come up...u know anything else possible....?

If he is reluctant enough to get back into windows and it appears that he has more than one operating system installed then you can go to the following tab: start/control panel/systems/adanced tab ... from there go to startup and recovery and select the settings tab. You can uncheck the box that sets the time to display operating systems at boot up. All of this is with the assumption you have booted to windows. If you cant boot to windows and what NIKON told you then maybe the hard drive is bad. I just had to replace a faulty hard drive in a laptop a few days ago. You definitely have to reinstall windows and all drivers and programs afterwards. TMO
